Zark is the ne'er-do-well nephew of Garrow.

When an effect forces Zark to move—through a push, a pull, or a slide—he moves 1 square less than the effect specifies. When an attack would knock Zark prone, the dwarf gains an immediate saving throw to avoid falling prone.

Bio:

Zark lives in Volta. The nephew of Garrow and brother to Darden, Dred, and Drer. Garrow is the owner of Garrow’s Curiousities. The Dwarf triplets run the Volta stables.

Zark had been involved with the lady of shadows. As part of this, he was transporting slaves from the docks to Glass Ruins. All the while, pretending to just be a lazy, no good young dwarf mooching off of his uncle’s good will.

After watching the adventurers wipe out the members of the Lair of Shadows, Zark surrendered and agreed to try a more proper life. He testified that Drake, the Dragonborn, hadn’t attacked him (as had actually happened) and blamed the event on the deceased rogues of the Lair of Shadows. With the guidance of Char, the Goliath thief taker, Zark is now pursuing a career as a thief taker. Perhaps favoring the scoundrel aspect of the role more than the do-goodiness.

He plans on moving to Warrington in July to get into the thief taking work.

He’s been in Warrington since then. He has embedded himself in Crusty’s gang, planning on getting a big heist done. Unfortunately, the city guard won’t act on his tips. He is looking to be able to intercept a shipment of children slaves as proof to the city guard, but can’t do it alone.
